Aruba Excursions

An excursion in Aruba means one of three things: going off-road into the desert interior, going out on the water, or renting something with wheels and writing your own route. This page lists every excursion we run, what it costs, how long it takes and who it suits.

All excursions are operated on the island by our partner Around Aruba Tours, with hotel pick up from Palm Beach, Eagle Beach, Oranjestad and the cruise terminal.

Which Aruba excursion should you pick?

Aruba is only 32 km long, so most excursions fit in half a day and you still get an afternoon on the beach. Use this as a shortcut:

  • First time on the island, want the highlights — Outback Safari or Safari Jeep tour to the Natural Pool.
  • Want to drive yourself — ATV for couples, UTV for families of three to five.
  • Want water, snorkelling and a drink in hand — catamaran sail to the Antilla wreck.
  • Celebrating something or travelling as a group — private boat charter or a private A/C Jeep.
  • On a cruise ship with limited hours — a short mini boat tour or a private Jeep by the hour.

How much do excursions in Aruba cost?

Shared group excursions start around $60–$95 per person. Self-drive off-road vehicles are priced per vehicle rather than per head, which usually works out cheaper for two or more people. Private charters and private Jeeps are billed per hour for the whole group.

Prices below are the operator's own rates — we do not add booking fees and you pay the operator directly on the day.

Best excursions in Aruba, honestly ranked

If you only do one thing off the beach, make it the Natural Pool. It is the single most memorable spot on Aruba and you can only reach it by 4x4, ATV, UTV or on foot.

The second thing worth booking is time on the water: the Antilla shipwreck is a shallow, easy snorkel that even nervous swimmers manage, and it is reachable on both the catamaran sail and a private charter.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best excursion in Aruba?

For most visitors it is an off-road trip to the Conchi Natural Pool in Arikok National Park — by safari Jeep if you would rather be driven, or by ATV or UTV if you want to drive yourself.

Do Aruba excursions include hotel pick up?

Yes. Every guided excursion includes pick up and drop off at hotels and rental homes in Palm Beach, Eagle Beach, Noord and Oranjestad, and at the cruise terminal.

How far in advance should I book?

In high season (January to April) book three to seven days ahead. Outside those months a day or two is usually enough, and same-day requests are often possible.

Are excursions suitable for children?

Most are. Safari and catamaran excursions take children from 4 years, ATV passengers from 6 years, and drivers must be 18 with a valid licence.
